If it was up to me Charleston, S.C. would be at the top of that list, even though the cost of living isn't that great.
That's where we are moving as soon as the kids are grown.
You've got the beach which is not commercialized like Myrtle, the historical town, and it's just a classy, laid back, cool kinda place. Plus there's nice resturants, fishing, shopping. Kiawa Island is just minutes away-great place to golf. And my little brother lives there...
